Eclipse Open Integration Engine has passed 10,000 downloads
Eclipse Open Integration Engine has passed 10,000 installer downloads on GitHub.
That count covers 5 releases, from the first technical preview in June 2025 to the current version 4.7.0, released October 21. Even more if we include Docker image downloads.
Kudos to the growing and forward thinking community behind it!
13 people contributed to 4.7.0, our CTO Paul Hristea among them, up from 7 on 4.6.0, and the project has had over 300 pull requests. Thanks to the maintainers and contributors who build and ship each release, and to everyone helping out on the community Discord.
Eclipse OIE is rapidly becoming THE choice for healthcare organizations wanting to choose a reliable, performance driven integration engine.
With the name and its marks held by the Eclipse Foundation, no single vendor can appropriate them, change the license, or put Eclipse OIE behind a paywall. Vulnerability discovery is backed by the Eclipse Foundation Security Team.
NovaMap Health is proud to contribute to Eclipse OIE. We developed the TLS Manager Plugin, co-sponsored with Diridium Technologies, and contributed it to the community as open source. It adds TLS capability, including mutual TLS (mTLS), to the original HTTP, Web Service and TCP connectors.
For teams running Eclipse OIE in production, our Product Support puts our team behind it: priority emails if a vulnerability affects your OIE instances, and early-release patches for installations running NovaMap builds. We're one of several vendors that support Eclipse OIE, so you're never locked to a single vendor.
